Great Place

Liked: Location was great and staff always made us feel welcome. To our surprise there was coffee, and wine in the lobby. The breakfast offered everything. It was quiet and close to the action. Found a great seafood restaurant a block away. The room was clean and comfy. It was easy to walk to all the old town attractions and we always felt safe.
Disliked: The bar where breakfast was served in the evening was run as a separate operation.

Very good

Liked: Great location, and cool family history of the hotel. It definitely brings you back in time with the decor. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and they left a welcome spirit in the room. Breakfast had lots of options in the buffet.
Disliked: There was a slight smell in the room, not super bothersome but definitely notable on entering. The other issue was you can't use the AC unless they turn it on downstairs, which we weren't able to do. Luckily the window opens and lets in good fresh air which helped with both problems.
