Bait and switch

Disliked: The day before we were set to arrive our reservation was changed to one of their sister hotels. We were told it was a better hotel but it was many blocks away from where we had planned on being while in town and we had no car so had to walk it. Also, they told us 3 days after the last day we could cancel for free so we were just stuck with the change.

Superb

Liked: the outdoor area is very pleasant
Disliked: it does not have an elevator

Liked: NOTHING!
Disliked: Wouldn’t recommend. Chose this place because it was “convenient” for my cruise but the staff upon arrival was VERY rude, the rooms were ugly and out of date… had roaches EVERYWHERE in the room… absolutely disgusting.

Liked: Location was great.
Disliked: Air conditioner in one of our 2 family rooms was broken and weather was extremely hot. The other room also had issues with air conditioner so we had to put a bucket and around 6 towels in the middle of the room to help with the leak.

Location, location but low quality...

Liked: Location was great and price was decent!
Disliked: Hhmmm.. where do I begin? I think the hotel has a lot of potential but too many issues to say it can improve in the next few weeks. Holes in the walls, broken bathroom door, mole, sheets with old spots, and beat up walls, old fixtures, hole in the ceiling. It’s like they just barely managing this hotel, they clean but the sheets still has spots on it. Floor felt dirty and I’m not sure why they don’t fix the actual hotel because it could be perfect with some paint, plaster, plumbing and visually clean sheets.

We will definitely be back!

Liked: Amazing art deco hotel! Very clean and the front staff was very welcoming and friendly! Beautiful trees and the birds were abundantly visible.
Disliked: We loved everything!
