This hotel offers clean rooms...
Liked: From the moment we arrived we were greeted by staff members that were friendly and helpful. The hotel offers self-parking in an underground parkade that is clean and bright. Our very clean city view suite offered a bonus partial view of the inner harbour from two balconies! Great location in the very walkable downtown core.
Disliked: Overall, everything was great.

Liked: The location was great. Beds are comfortable. Parking was easy. Rooms are big. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Pool was being renovated, so not available to us during our stay. They gave us a pool pass at a community center but you need a car to get to it and parking is limited. Also, the community pool has rules so kids below 10 must have an adult in the water with them. That put us out because only my 14 and 9 y/o had swim attire. The strict pool rules aren't the hotel's fault, but hopefully this info helps others.

Would have been better if...
Disliked: Super disappointed about the pool and hot tub being closed. Didn't find out till after I had booked and got an email the next day after it was too late to change the reservation. The hotel did offer us vouchers to a community rec center that was very far away from the hotel. Not within walking distance, nor did the hotel offer us any way to get there. I would have been fine with all of the closures if it had been made upfront at the time of booking and could have made a different choice. Instead, I got stuck without being able to change the booking. Also, we checked in to the hotel around 11 am, not expecting our room to be ready. I was told that I would receive a text message when the room was ready. I never, got a thing, even after I had confirmed my phone number. I finally went back to the front desk at 3 pm and they said it was ready, and they were not sure why I had not gotten a text. Overall it would have been a much better experience had there been more upfront notice about the pool and hot tub and not getting the text about the room.
