Manchester has better

Liked: The shower was good, the food was good, but no more than I’d expect from a decent hotel.
Disliked: No one at front desk, staff on mobile phones, and dodgy air con. The real killer was on checkout being asked to pay a £10 service charge which was “discretionary” but as I was staring at the person it was going to who I had only met 10 seconds ago, I was obviously pressured into leaving it there. Won’t go back.

Lovely stay at the Gotham,...

Loved it

Liked: It’s a beautiful building, the bedrooms are great and the staff are very welcoming and helpful
Disliked: It’s just a little bit too expensive and I didn’t like all of the service charges on the bill, especially as we tip everyone really well anyway
