Home away from home

Liked: Please forgive me if I spell her name incorrectly. But Ilse was a wonderful host. She went above and beyond by asking me that morning where I was going so she can perhaps drop me off. It was out of her way so we didn't do that. But that afternoon, she offered to take me to the tower with a panoramic view of the rivers in Dessel because she saw me with my camera. I wouldn't have known this if she hadn't said anything. It was awesome! Thank you so much, Ilse, for going out of your way to show me a part of your town that I would have overlooked. You're a wonderful human being. Room was cozy with a HUGE bathroom. I slept like a baby on the bed, which rarely happens when I'm traveling because my brain knows it's not "home". But for once, I slept on a different bed but I fell asleep with no trouble. The comfy bed and linen were also such a great help. Overall, I would book this place again given the chance. Thank you, everyone, for making me feel like it's a home away from home.
