Liked: The room was quite spacious, the owner was quite friendly as well although we reached the hotel quite late
Disliked: i think the toilet drainage has caused quite a hassle for us on the first night, the water overflows to the other side of the toilet from the shower, after cleaning the water flow was much better.

Liked: The hotel is cozy and very well-located in central Köln. It was very quiet too (you can just about hear the bells from the Dom!)

Liked: Location
Disliked: The single room is way too small and not ventilated. It was boiling hot (no aircon, just a fan, but one can not keep it running all night). Opening the window meant all noise from the outside got in (and there was a lot!). Very bright stree light blasting light directly at the room window on the first floor... Result - no sleep at all, not a single minute.

Great value and good location...

Liked: The location was a short walk (15 minutes) to the train station and cathedral. The room was clean and a good value for the money. It was one block to a walking street with lots of shops and restaurants.

Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: Reception could be better, we had to wait for half an hour for our check in.

Decent place to stay for...

Liked: It was equal to the price paid. Staff was helpful. bed was comfy.
Disliked: Mold in the shower and the bathroom was very tight with door and kept bumping walls while in the shower.

Liked: Location is fantastic, within a walking distance from the very center. The place is clean, great WiFi service, 24 hour emtrance. Very nice touch providing a bottle of water for free in the room.
Disliked: No AC in rooms. 38c degrees outside is difficult to handle without AC unit. Also, no fridge, at least a small one - again in summer very important to have.
