Great! The staff service is...

Liked: On site, underground, secure parking and valet service is excellent for a center city hotel but Hotel GeE’s location is outstanding for convenience to Verona sites and shopping; it’s merely steps to the arena and prime shopping on Via Mazzini.
Disliked: Key card is required to power electric and A/C in room, so during hot weather, room has to re-cool every time you return.

Excellent short city break location

Liked: Central location with good access to the Arena and Piazza Bra and close to all of the main attractions in the old town. Hotel staff were nice and very polite.
Disliked: No view from the window but these were standard rooms - better rooms available.

Disliked: Bit hard to get to with a car

Great location in the heart...

Liked: Hotel is an excellent location adjacent to the Coliseum, Piazza Bra and Piazza Erbe. Easy taxi ride from the Verona train station. The historic section of Verona is quite small and easily accessible from the hotel.
Disliked: It's relatively small hotel with minimial services. It's fairly expensive for the services and size of guest room. Breakfast was not include in our rate.

Unbeatable location and accommodation

Liked: Amazing location next to the Arena! We stayed in the Giulietta room as a family of five and it exceeded our expectations. Two separate (high powered) air conditioners (it was in the 90s! in the two bedroom suite, big comfortable beds (and a comfy convertible couch for our younger child). Great storage and layout, modern bathroom. Charming decor nodding to the romantic tale. We basically had our own apartment with assistance refreshing the room daily. We could have opted in for the continental breakfast, but there were just so many places to grab food that we preferred exploring. One room had two European windows, the other has doors to a tiny balcony. The side street it is on is quiet and beautiful, right off the busy piazza one way and the main shopping street the other. There are two restaurants on the street that are lovely in the evening but never too noisy or disturbing. This was by far our favorite accommodation on our two week trip. We stayed five nights and it was a dream!
Disliked: Honestly, nothing. It was great!

I do not understand the...

Liked: The location was great, the hotel, was clean, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was passable.
Disliked: The bed and pillows were rock hard. We both woke up with back and shoulder pain. The duvet cover and sheets felt like sand paper. I guess what really bothered me about the hotel was for months on end we'd get constant emails from them. Apparent.y someone was about to send emails through booking.com to appear as them. All sort of messages. First we thought our room had been cancelled. Nope just the hacker trying to get information from us and still 2-3 days before we checked in we were getting messages to check-in online. We had already learned not to trust anything form the hotel and now we're getting messages to enter more personal information. It doesn't seem to be a booking.com issue it seems to be a hotel issue because no other hotel on this trip is sending us messages like this. Frankly I'm glad to be done with the hotel so now I can block them, but this is something the hotel should have managed and they didn't so we're left to wonder how safe any of our data is at the hotel. Not something you want to think about on your holiday. Also I'm fluent in Italian but the staff would always speak to me in english. It's a bit rude.
