Uncomfortable sleeping temperature

Liked: Very close to Lincoln square. Walkable distance to shops and restaurants. Parking garage behind the building. Bar and restaurant on site.
Disliked: We were very disappointed that the hotel turns off access to the temperature of the room. When we came back to our room it was 76 degrees. We could not adjust the temp to our comfort level. We had an adjoining room and that access was also cut off. We had 4 people in 1 room and we were all very uncomfortable sleeping all night. We left the room for dinner with it set at 68 degrees which was perfect for us . The room felt great then! We were touring all and it was very hot and humid outside. It is unfortunate we paid so much to stay at this hotel to be so uncomfortable sleeping! Thankfully we were only staying 1 night or I would have checked out. I will not go back for this reason. I think if your paying $300 a night you should be able to control your room temperature!

Overall a very nice place...

Liked: Nice spacious rooms. Comfortable bed. Great location. In house restaurant and bar/lounge areas and Starbucks next door were super convenient.
Disliked: No parking lot.. walk to parking garage while not far was not expected and slightly inconvenient. Though shower was roomy and water was hot, there was low water pressure and just a soft spray.

Disliked: The closet door was hard to open and close. We can hear people talking in the hallway and the room next door.

Great place!

Liked: We love staying at Hotel Gettysburg! The rooms are great, staff is amazing, and the location is superb. Beds are comfy, huge rooms, no lack of choices for places to eat that are within walking distance, and a short drive to the battlefield. We will always come back.
