Liked: Excellent location, clean and stylish interiors with comfortable and quiet rooms. The staff were incredibly helpful (I'm an English Speaker) and the free tea/coffee/pastries/tote bag/post-cards were all lovely touches. The room was small but perfect for me (a solo traveller). Would recommend!
Disliked: Loud plumbing works in the annexe part of the hotel

Liked: Wonderful breakfast, extremely helpful staff, very friendly, great location right by the beach, our dog was fussed over and welcomed, the beds were AMAZING and the staff very helpful in giving us the brand and model of the mattress. If you're staying in Biarritz I'd absolutely recommend Hotel Alfreds.
Disliked: Can't think of anything!

Cute, stylish and compact hotel...

Beach adjacent hotel with reasonable...

Liked: Perfectly located a block from the beach staff was friendly. Breakfast was ample, although only if you're prepared to eat a lot of gluten and carbs.
Disliked: Room was very small, which didn't bother us that much air conditioning was a bit not enough. I don't think the hotel can improve this, but the sound carries between floors very much. The parking situation was pretty bad, which is not within the hotels control, but they probably could give a lot more strategies for how to park where to park.

Hotel in the city center,...

Liked: The hotel is in a beautiful location, a few steps from the ocean. The entire hotel was very clean. All guests can use the patio to relax, and there is very good coffee available for guests all day long for free. The hotel is suitable for a weekend stay (max 3 days) and you will be thrilled 😄
Disliked: However, the rooms are very small, 2 people cannot fit around the bed at once. For a longer (weekly) stay, there is no wardrobe (there are only a few hangers), so we had to leave our things in the suitcase for the whole week. The breakfast was good quality, but unfortunately without any change for the whole week (always the same types of ingredients).

The room was clean and comfortable, and everything we needed was within walking distance — beaches, shops, and restaurants.What really stood out was the service at reception. Emma was absolutely amazing — kind, professional, and always ready to help. She gave excellent local tips and made us feel truly welcome. Her warm attitude made a big difference and really enhanced our stay.Overall, a great option if you're looking for a well-located and reasonably priced hotel in Biarritz with exceptional staff.
