Terrible smell in the hall

Liked: White and clean sheets and towels
Disliked: The smell on the floor is terrible. Smells like someone died and remained there, and the floor was just sprayed with something to "kill the initial smell". I had to cover my nose passing through the hall. Terrible! Wanted to vomit every time. The smell was also coming to the room.

Liked: Location was really close to our destination of the event we were to attend. However, it would of be nice to be notified of the thousands of homeless near and very close by this hotel. we were very GRATEFUL the hotel had a security guard on site, and that our room was on the inside:
Disliked: .One huge issue was there were bugs in our bed, the front desk clerk was very professional and kind and moved us to a much bigger room in which we found no bugs. Overall the price was right?? however we probably wont be returning, but we thank you for the opportunity. We actually shorten our trip, instead of staying two nights and ringing in the new year on our second night, we left and found ourselves on the road new years eve heading home.

Liked: The staff was very nice and accommodating. In general, the style of the lobby was nice as well. Parking was easy & convenient.
Disliked: Honestly, the general location was not great, it was not in the nicest area of SF. The rooms were tiny, and it felt a little cheap. The bathrooms were clean, however, it felt a little grungy & dirty. Parking was easy however, it was open-air parking, it felt like you were parking at a motel — there was security watching your cars, but in this area in SF — not the safest neighborhood.

Disliked: The bathroom was very dirty. There was black scum (could’ve been mold) in the shower and there was a cockroach in my towel in morning.
