Hotel Garni ' Am Domplatz'

Good budget hotel in a...

Liked: Excellent location, very clean room and modern bathroom. Parking next door.
Disliked: Unfortunately some guests were noisy.

Small hotel close to town...

Liked: The proximity to the town’s sights was nice. The receptionist was very nice and helpful.
Disliked: It is on the main road. The tram comes by approximately every 3 minutes, and the cars, police cars, everyone walking in the night. It’s definitely not a quiet, quaint place. The unit was facing the sun and hot as hell in there. There’s no air conditioning so no reprieve from the heat. A miserable night. We should have walked the town during the day and moved on down the road.

Liked: Very nice large room, great neighborhood with good restaurants nearby. Loved the place!

Close to the town center

Liked: The location was excellent, just off the Marktplatz. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The parking garage was very tight and difficult to use. We did not use our car during our stay, so it was OK, but if you plan to use your car while staying here, I think I'd choose a different hotel.

Worth repeating provided the curtain...

Liked: Everything very good except the curtains.
Disliked: Everything was fine, only the dark-curtains were too short so at 05.45 the room was full of daylight and it was no longer possible for me to resume sleep. The staff has indicated that they will soon replace the curtains with full-size models.

Great one night stay.

Liked: The beds were comfy and the location was amazing. Great for our one night stay. The staff were all lovely.
Disliked: No tea or coffee facilities in the room and the doors are a bit hard to open.

Superb

Great hotel to come back.

Liked: The atmosphere, smooth Organisation, super friendly personnel.
Disliked: Toilet sometimes smells after sewage.

Exceptional

Liked: The personnel was very friendly. I could reserve a parking spot which was essential in this area. The location is near the center of the city and we could walk everywhere. Room was clean and comfy. I did not try the breakdast as we had only one day there and we chose to have our breakfast somewhere else in the center during our last walk there.
Disliked: There was a gap below and above the door and the voice from outside could not be isolated (and vice versa) but the hotel thankfully was very quiet
