Disliked: This hotel has no AC in the building nor rooms. It's awful in the summer. I don't recommend staying here during the summer time.

Great room for the value....

Liked: The bed was very clean and comfortable. Nice shower. It is a great stay for the value. Super cafes and shopping around, metro very close for whizzing around the city. The hotel is nothing fancy, but completely suits for a comfortable, affordable stay.
Disliked: I felt like the desk could have been more friendly, welcoming. He told us upon arrival that our room was not ready, but did not mention the common lobby room to wait. We were exhausted from traveling and would have appreciated the waiting room.

Wouldn't recommend

Liked: Location was convenient for exploring the city. Staff member on arrival was very helpful.
Disliked: Air-conditioning in the whole building was broken and appears to have been for many months, this was not made clear online. The room smelt very musty, requiring the windows to be open at all times. The building was clearly not well maintained with mold in the bathroom, large stains on the carpet, no soap in bathroom etc. No sign of the cellar restaurant (though we didn't ask). Photos are misleading. For what you pay to stay it is not worth it.

I would recommend if possible...

Liked: The staff went above and beyond to help with a request. In fact the even walked with us to buy metro tickets and to show us the bus stop.

Nice location but tiny and...

Liked: Location was easy walking distance to sights. Nice area with cafes next door.
Disliked: Rooms were extremely small. Area with cafes had pan handlers A/c was broken and very noisy if you left the windows open. Fixing the A/c didn’t seem to be a priority as they had signs on the thermostats which may have been there awhile.

Very good
