Great Hotel for a Weekend...

Liked: Location and beautiful grounds. Very nice patio with tables and chairs.
Disliked: Wish there had been a step up to the stage area where there were chairs for sitting. They have beautiful gardens but they have not been maintained.

Great Stay At The Hotel...

Liked: This was our first stay at Hotel Floyd. We found the property very well kept and tidy, and well situated right in town. Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom. There is not a lot of bathroom counter space, and could benefit from some wall hooks. Beds were comfortable with nice fresh bedding and ample pillows. Our room was an outdoor entry room, which we liked, and the view from our window was of a very old cemetery, which we walked through after dinner and explored. We were able to park next to the building, which was lucky. Walked to dinner at the very close by Mexican restaurant, which we loved, and then did some exploring. The town is a great walking town, which is easy to do from this hotel, and is why we choose it. Breakfast was good and had everything you'd expect, and it was hot and plentiful. We would definitely return to Hotel Floyd and would recommend it to other travelers.

Liked: We did not like the breakfast room or what was being offered that day. We decided to go out for breakfast instead.
