The hotel was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast bar was amazing. Had a really great time and will book another room in the future. Was easy to get to the Amalie Arena. Short walk.

It was close to the Amalie Arena; nice clean room at a good rate. It was hard to see the TV at that distance. The only hotel I have stayed in in many years that did not have coffee service in the room. I would stay again if I had a need to visit downtown Tampa.

Liked: The property was elegant and beautiful as were the rooms. Very clean and had a nice design.
Disliked: There was a surprise $30 travel fee and valet parking only which was $40/night.

Passable

Liked: Clean and stylish room with large and comfortable bed.
Disliked: Construction work ongoing so was noisy from early in the morning. The promised ear plugs were nowhere to be found. TV didn't work and the shower (although it looked nice) was very poor with very little pressure.

Superb

Liked: I thought I was lucky to have booked such an overachieving hotel stay and would absolutely stay again if I needed to be in Tampa again. I received a substantial discount over the typical rate - probably because the hotel was completing a major renovation.
Disliked: The caf inside the hotel was not much to speak of, charging bogus fees for what should be no charge, like napkins and milk in your coffee. I avoided it and was very disappointed. The bath products had a fine scent but not a safety rating (phthalates etc
