Disliked: It was 35 degrees during my stay and the room does not have aircon - VERY hot and stuffy. View from room is of industrial style vents which continually hum. The pillow was very thin and uncomfortable

Great value for money in...

Liked: The location is unbeatable for a city break in Cologne. Walking distance everywhere and great restaurants and shopping on your doorstep. It’s perfectly clean and functional. The staff is friendly. Really good value for money for a trip with friends.
Disliked: Ask for a quiet room facing the courtyard, as the streets around can get noisy at night. Long queues at check in/out as there is never enough reception staff. Had to ask for additional pillows as the one provided were so thin. The hotel itself is a bit dated (but clean). If you are looking for a romantic get away, look somewhere else.

Disliked: All tough renovated, the hotel looks like an eighties lower middle class hotel. There is a wide choice at the breakfast, but all the products are cheap and not very tasteful The staff is not client oriented
