Liked: The proximity to the beach is fantastic, and its location in nature makes it special. The staff were very helpful and friendly and did their best despite the basic conditions and restrictions of some of the strange policies. The cleaning staff are professional, hard-working and pay much attention to detail.Walking up the beach to the Tiki-bar is a nice alternative to over-priced drinks.
Disliked: This is nowhere near 4-star level.Flooded sewerage drains on a regular basis.You don't choose your restaurant, it's pot-luck based on the room you are assigned. The Wild Duck food and ambiance are both very disappointing. You need to PAY extra to rent beach towels (non-refundable)You need to PAY extra to use the sunbeds on the beach!!There are no irons/ ironing boards provided. Imagine. Nowhere. Instead you can avail of their laundry service which starts at eur6.50 for a dress to be ironed....Mattresses are very hard.The gym is not worth mentioning.The tennis court is old and dilapidated. Music at the pool is far too club-like during the day. The DJ should probably look at the guests' ages and figure out a better mix for older people and families with young kids. There were no groups of 20s-30s who might have enjoyed the music. The rest of us were there to relax, not party during the day.

Liked: The bar staff and manager were the only good things about this place
Disliked: Not to mention the below items, we had to leave 3 days early due to a pregnancy related medical emergency and when we tried to recover the cost for these days we didn’t stay at the property, they referred us to Booking.com staff and when the Booking.com staff tried repeatedly to contact the property they ignored them. Very unprofessional. * Clogged sink* Moldy/unclean drain smell in the bathroom* Tennis courts with no net and broken concrete * Served a drink in a broken glass (sharp edge)* Shrimp not been cleaned* Octopus too salty and tough* Beef extremely dry* Only ate 1 antipasti 1.5 primi and 2 dessertHotel Flamingo Management, I am awaiting your reply.

Liked: Overall it was a lovely place to stay ; excellent pool and beaches with a relaxing Spa. The local bus to all the beaches was great
Disliked: The restaurant service and food was disappointing and disorganised. There was limited information upon arrival eg not being informed about having to pay for pool towels and the exact location of the facilities

Peaceful resort away from crowds

Liked: Peaceful location, away from large concentrations of people. Wonderful staff, very clean and good smelling facilities. If you opt for dinner reservation, the food is really good!Don't let the "old" building make you quit, it is very well restored and modernized.
Disliked: Having to pay for beach towels, it could have some sort of deposit system at least, instead of paying 3€ for each towel, leave a refundable deposit to be returned on check-out
