Pleasant and modern location in...
Liked: Rooms were clean and interior was original and nice
Disliked: Breakfast quite basic - no hot plates for the buffet

Seems one of these new...
Liked: Location was convenient and room was fine.
Disliked: Check in and out was a hassle. Staff seems very distracted with various activities. I did not receive the invoice by email as agreed. It took forever to get my luggage from my room to the car. Parking is $50 and with terrible service. They also charged my CC for $22. No idea what that is for since I did not eat or drink anything in the hotel. I arrived at 8:30pm and left at 7am next day. Called and was transferred to Accounting. Got vmail. This hotel is seriously understaffed with poorly trained employees, but with an air of arrogance. Good luck with that mix if you run this hotel.

Liked: Good location, historic building with good upgrades to common areas.
Disliked: 1. There was no mention of the valet fee until check-in and is was stated so fast along with other information that it was hard to understand and the fee is ridiculously high. 2. The room was tiny, not even enough room for a chair. There was no way to judge this from your website and poor indication of the other room variations. The room size was well below that of comparable hotels in this price range. I can only assume that fact is due to being across the state from the Staples Center on game night. 3. The room was noisy. 4. The pillows were the thinnest I have ever seen. We requested additional ones which were much better. 5. There were coffee supplies in the room, but nothing with which to brew coffee. The front desk said that a request for a coffee brewer was required before one would be provided. 6. There was no explanation that half of all the sockets in the room were on a timer and would go out during the night and during the day after an unknown period of time, resulting in devices not recharging and lamps and coffee brewers not working. 7. There was no electricity to the bathroom along with poor lighting. 8. There was no iron or ironing board in the room and no closet, just a small armoire. There are better amenities at a Motel 6. Not up to the standards of other LHW locations. This was a huge disappointment and one that colors my view of Bookings.com.

Liked: Paper thin walls. We heard people in the hallway and even things people were doing next door in the middle of the night.

Liked: Position close to staples and restaurants. Pool facility, bar, amazing bar staff and front desk staff!
Disliked: Fitness facility very average, room was a little small but just how it was built at the time and understandable
