Katarina, Kingston, visiting MTelus Montreal

After walking to find the hotel, we stopped to ask directions from a different hotel, which turned out to be the Holiday Inn Express except they changed names and failed to notify us before hand. The wifi wouldn't work even though the front desk tried to fix it. The room was disappointing as well considering the price we paid. We would not return or recommend anyone to stay there.

Disliked: Poor location, cost I found a room with Marriott Hotel which was cheaper , poor customer service, no available parking smelly room. Hot / uncomfortable.

For the money, it was...

Liked: Very convenient location close to ChinaTown, Old Montreal and Plaza de Arts. Has parking. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Toilet flush was very bad. Not sure if in the whole property or just my room. Rooms need updating and bathroom specifically needs updating. Ice machine only on lobby level.

Canada Day in Montreal

Liked: It was in a great location to walk to Old Montreal or the downtown core.
Disliked: Breakfast was served in a room not big enough for all of the guests. There was another room in the same location that had about 8 more tables that we ended up having our breakfast in. Having individual toasters with so many guests all trying to eat at the same time wasn’t very practical. They should invest in an industrial toaster to make things quicker. Parking was expensive at $35/day.

Great location.

Liked: Location was great. It was clean & the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Most staff were very helpful.
Disliked: It was so busy you had to wait a while to speak to the staff. We couldn’t change notes for coins to do the laundry as there was no coins available.
