Good place for stopover and...

Liked: Got the en suite room. It was clean and very bright. Suitable for a short stay if you are just using it to sleep. Otherwise there’s nothing much
Disliked: NA

Great choice for the price...

Liked: Clean rooms, kind staff, value for money, decent breakfast, parking
Disliked: Very noisy because there is a lot of people using the shared bathrooms

Good value place to stay...

Liked: The hotel/motel is relaxed and easy-going, with reasonably friendly staff (though being able to speak some French helps). Breakfast is served from 6:30am on a buffet basis - nothing fancy but perfectly OK and you can have as much as you like. The rooms are clean with sinks and are accessed with a code, so you don't have to remember to return your key!
Disliked: The location is out of the centre of Vannes and involves a bit of a hike for those without their own transport (about 15 minutes from the bus and railway station and twice that to the centre). There are few facilities nearby. The cheapest rooms are not en-suite and, during my stay, some of the toilets were out of service. The hotel rents towels for 3 euros but does not provide them with the room.
