Great hotel with pool for...

Liked: Friendly reception staff, good sized room with spacious bathroom.Restaurant and bar staff very helpful. We had dinner, which was very good value and of a great standard. Breakfast was too, good to see bacon and eggs on the menu!Pool was an added bonus, clean with plenty of sun beds
Disliked: Unfortunately the air conditioning in the room made an awful noise so we had to turn it off completely, which made for a rather warm nights sleep

Liked: Pleasant room. Bathroom comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. Location, not in the (rather tumultuous) city-centre of Cosenza, but at a safe distance in a quiet suburb.
Disliked: In spite of airconditioning being mentioned on Booking as one of the facilities in this hotel, there was no working airco in our room. When we asked about this, staff claimed the airconditioning had broken down some time ago. Or did they simply refuse to switch on the airco before June/July to avoid extra costs? We'll never know, but no solution (e.g. a ventilator) was offered when we asked for one. Disappointing.
