Liked: A gorgeous property from the front door. Into the sitting rooms and up to the room. Every detail has been attended to. They always had cold and hot drinks and delicious pastries near the bar area and the lounge seating was like being in someone’s luxurious home. Rooms were lovely with fabulous bedding and great lighting. The location can’t be beat -right on the canal but away from the throngs of tourists nearby. Staff gave great dining and cruise suggestions. Highly recommend!
Disliked: Nothing! Except perhaps room service the night we arrived jet lagged.

Liked: Wonderful hotel with beautiful aesthetics and great attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable, with high-quality linens and nice toiletries. There’s an open table in the lobby with tea and drinks. Perfect location, everything is close by. We booked a room with a canal view — it was amazing!

Not worth 4 stars: cockroaches,...

Liked: I left very disappointed. My room had cockroaches and had not been properly cleaned. In the hallway, there was a marijuana smell – it was disgusting! I had to complain in order for them to tidy up and clean. Their customer service was terrible.
Disliked: From the moment I arrived, the customer service was terrible. While I was checking in, a guest had an accident and the staff did not act appropriately – it was the guests, including myself, who rushed to help. When I complained about finding a cockroach in my room, no one gave me any response. Frankly, I do not understand how this hotel holds a 4-star rating. Upon my departure, the staff did not return my belongings as they should have. To this day, I am still demanding a response to the email I sent requesting that my belongings be sent to me. I expect an immediate reply to this matter.
