Liked: The building is beautiful. Indoors (reception, breakfast area, corridors) are nice. Clean, great staff. Very convenient location, close to the sea and to the central train station.
Disliked: Rather hot inside the room, discouraging view from the window (was not like at the room photo, just a building wall). Very dim lighting, just changing the lightbulbs will make the room much better looking.

A true gem for people...

Liked: The early 20th century building was GORGEOUS! The architecture, circular marble staircase with red carpet, stunning wood floor patterns, sitting room with balcony overlooking the water for all to use, period lighting fixtures, beautiful stained glass windows in the breakfast rooms- just sooo special!!! In addition: Wonderful staff, breakfast and location - close to everything!!! There are only 29 rooms, I believe, and they’re all on the first floor. No elevator but the SUPER friendly staff was happy to help with the suitcases.
