Great Hotel

Liked: The staff & and Barbara, the owner, are so beautiful & helpful & the location is perfect to explore Brussels I can't recommend this highly enough.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Great 1930’s style modern bathroom.

Great hotel, reasonably priced.

Liked: The staff was great and very welcoming. We arrived kind of late but were still able to get drinks and food at the downstairs bar. Our room was very comfortable but I imagine it could get very warm in the summer.
Disliked: The hotel was great but our map app told us to exit the train at the Brussels Nord station to get there. The walk from there goes through a pretty rough area. When we left, we walked to the Brussels Central station and that felt safer. Both stations are about a 15 minute walk from the hotel so we just recommend using the Brussels Central station.

Disappointing.

Liked: Good location close to shops and city centre. Comfortable beds and good shower.
Disliked: Room not ready at 4pm (well past check in time). Had to wait in reception. No drinks offered. Carpet going upstairs was dirty. Headboard was dirty. No tea/coffee making facilities (other rooms had them. No secure area to leave bags - they were just left in the bar area.

Weekend in Brussels

Liked: The ground floor tavern area is period art deco.Staff were very proud of the hotel and history.Room was modern and good standard.I found it close to the centre.
Disliked: Didn't trouble me but some might find the stairs a challenge if on the forth or higher level with no lift.

Liked: Comfortable room, good matress, nice design, central location easily reached by public transportation. I would reccomend the hotel!
Disliked: Hotel is next to a clock tower and you hear the bells quite loudly in the room
