Liked: Overall, the hotel was okay. I was pleasantly surprised to find two breakfast options available—both the buffet and the à la carte restaurant. The restaurant breakfast, where you could pick your own dishes, was especially nice.The staff at the lobby were friendly and helpful, and a special mention goes to the lobby bar team who were exceptionally polite and professional.The bed was comfortable, and the room cleaning was done perfectly.
Disliked: However, there are definitely some downsides—especially considering this hotel promotes itself as part of the Autograph Collection.The biggest issue is the architecture. The layout makes absolutely no sense. The lobby is located underground, served by just one small elevator. Did the architect forget that guests might have luggage? It’s one of the worst design choices I’ve seen in a hotel.Accessibility is another major problem. I was traveling with a baby stroller, and there were steps everywhere—with no ramps. Getting to your room can mean taking one elevator to a certain floor, then walking down stairs to another level—again, with no ramp in sight. This setup is simply not acceptable for anyone needing an accessible layout.And unfortunately, the rooftop bar was a major disappointment. Even though it wasn’t busy, the service was shockingly poor. It was completely self-service: you had to grab your own menu, place your order, and then hope it got to the right table—which it didn’t. My order was forgotten not once, not twice, but three times. Each time, a new server came and asked what I had ordered nearly 40 minutes earlier. It was chaotic and unprofessional. This is in stark contrast to the lobby bar, where the staff were skilled, friendly, and attentive. It felt like two completely different hotels.So in the end, while there were some nice elements, the confusing layout, poor accessibility, and subpar rooftop service really brought down the experience. For the price and the branding, I expected more. A solid 7 out of 10—but there are definitely better stays out there.
