Not at 5 start hotel....

Liked: Indoor pool
Disliked: The food is of poor quality, especially considering we're in a 5-star hotel, where quality, variety, freshness, and presentation must be carefully considered. The first day, the food was cold, and there wasn't much variety on the grill. Having only one employee to handle this part is quite complicated, with long waits and their stress. Breakfast attempts to offer an English breakfast option, but they use the cheapest sausage on the market, which not even 2-star hotels offer. The reception staff is unsociable, which is quite unusual for Andalusian culture. Upon arrival at the restaurant, there is no friendly or pleasant welcome from the person checking the list. The quality and service of a 5-star hotel are lacking. I invite management to visit the fourth floor and check the curtains, which are dirty and worn.

Fabulous place to stay

Liked: Superb staff who will do anything to help. Excellent indoor and outdoor pool areas effect are spotless. Lovely breakfast and Spanish charm.

Not sure I would stay...

Liked: The property was spacious and you could tell at one time it was more luxurious. It looked like it would have a magnificent view but I failed to find a place to experience it when exploring the property.
Disliked: The rooms were in need of refurbishment. Little details like damage to timber finishes and old insufficient bedding let the place down. We were very disappointed to find the spa pools shown were an additional cost with the hotel pool closed. The room service took a very long time but delivered looking better than it tasted. Breakfast buffet was the highlight.

Liked: Beautiful hotel, lovely breakfast, buffet style with everything you could possibly want. Beds very comfortable and very large. Bathroom very large with lovely bath and separate shower. Perfect location for what we needed.
