Superb

Really a great little hotel...

Liked: Location to old town is perfect. A real little gem in the old town. It is actually the oldest building in Europe and perhaps the oldest hotel. It is small but very quaint.

A great place to stay...

Liked: Hotel Elch is in a great location. The staff were very helpful and pleasant . Breakfast also was good .
Disliked: Our room was in the older part of the hotel and at the front. It wasn’t very big but adequate. There was some noise in the evenings from the street . There is also building work going on opposite that also created noise .

Disliked: The air conditioning was not good enough. The temperature was very hot every day we were there, and the room was too warm.

Lovely stay

Liked: Great location in the old town, very clean, lovely welcome note, spacious room. Yes there were 4 flights of stairs with a large suitcase but that was to be expected staying in a heritage room.
