Hotel Elan

Well, the youth of the afternoon and evening were walking the street as we pulled in...ouch. Friday and Saturday nights were party nights from 1AM- 5AM - we had to get up at 6am for our conference. Let's see, between the moaning and groaning from the room above us and the youth of the evening walking the streets - we locked our door and put a chair against it, just in case. Oh, I forgot to mention the bed was the hardest bed I have ever tried to sleep on and the pillows were like bricks. I guess I will save a little more for a hotel without the parties. Brick beds and pillows - be afraid, be very afraid...

Will not return.

Liked: Trying to rehab rooms. Kinda poor workmanship
Disliked: No place to hang clothes. No place to hang towels. No place for toilet paper. Shower curtian doesn't fit. Cords hanging under t.v.. Renting rooms that in my opinion are not ready. Breakfast is a joke. Had to put soap shampoo etc on shower floor.

Comfortable stay with a few...

Liked: The rooms were comfortable and clean
Disliked: Our bathroom light kept turning on randomly throughout the night, netflix was also available to log in to but it kept pausing every five minutes or so. The area also had some night time activity but for the price its fair. I was also hoping the breakfast was going to be more than toast and cereal.

Liked: location close to our ultimate destination
Disliked: Air conditioner was extremely noisy, hard to fall asleep with that noise

Liked: Finally, breakfast is being served!!!
Disliked: I stayed 4 days and 3 nights, the day after my room was cleaned up beautifully by the maids. But on the 2nd day, I left very early and hung on the door the sign "Make up my room." When I came back, the room wasn't made up. Maid told me that I have to notify IN PERSON if I wanted my room made up even though I hung my sign outside the door. I had a long day and was looking forward to a beautifully fresh clean room. I wasn't aware in any "fine print" over these little rules. I really haven't gone back.

Disliked: Worst was check out . Person at front office wished to check my room. He asked me to stand out of front office because he wished to lock it . He asked me to stand out in sun , wait till he returned and refunded my security, which they took in cash . What a unprofessional behavior.Stained toilets.No bodywash / shampoo or stand in shower.Water came as shower from sink tap .

Liked: The person at the office asked me for $100 dollars deposit

Liked: We loved everything, nice and clean and lots of space in the shower. Very close to food walking distance one block away there is a food truck Park very delicious.
Disliked: Not enough parking and the vending machine was broken.
