Well, the youth of the afternoon and evening were walking the street as we pulled in...ouch. Friday and Saturday nights were party nights from 1AM- 5AM - we had to get up at 6am for our conference. Let's see, between the moaning and groaning from the room above us and the youth of the evening walking the streets - we locked our door and put a chair against it, just in case. Oh, I forgot to mention the bed was the hardest bed I have ever tried to sleep on and the pillows were like bricks. I guess I will save a little more for a hotel without the parties. Brick beds and pillows - be afraid, be very afraid...

Bad habits!!!

Liked: Really nothing.
Disliked: Rude front desk. Trying to charge a $30 extra because you book online. Unbelievable that they can do this the consumer traveling. Plus, telling me to pay cash to where it's would cost me $80 more than the online price. Stay away from this hotel at all costs.

Liked: Close to CSU San Jose.
Disliked: Not as advertised. The pictures must have been staged as the room and front desk in reality do not look this nice. Hairs in the bathroom sink and tub. Tub looked dirty and had mold around the jets. Hairs on the pillows. So glad I brought my own pillow!!

Disliked: The room was horrible tv didn't work . Had blurry TV. Only 20 channels . Bathroom was gross. Towels had hair . Mold in bathroom 115 and stains on chair and carpet and burns on tub . Sketchy neiborhood not safe . Parking is compact . Alot of cats outside. And the staff is not nice. Don't have buckets for ice. Not fire alarm or carbon monoxide detectors .

Surprisingly modern room with fancy...

Liked: The room appeared to be of the type one finds at a higher-end hotel. Much pricier than what Hotel Elan was asking.
Disliked: Needed a chair by the table next to the dresser. The table was fine but lacked a chair. I often write while I stay in hotels
