Liked: The only redeeming features of this hotel are (i) the location (close to nice neighbourhoods of Juarez and Rome Norte and round the corner from Reforma) and (ii) the staff, particularly Jenny and Valentino, who helped me make a very uncomfortable room slightly less uncomfortable, and provided great service with a smile.
Disliked: The hotel is extremely run down and falling apart - smell of damp; ceiling caved in in the ground floor toilet, decor very tired. And in my room specifically the curtains were too short for the window so they let in a huge amount of light. The bathroom was old and falling apart, rusting and the shower looked like a prison shower head. Lighting was harsh white light, making the room look like a hospital ward. Thank goodness I only booked one night and spent very little time in the room / hotel at all.

Liked: A quiet area, spacious room and clean. A nice breakfast with a very good service. The porter too was very helpful.
Disliked: The woman at the reception looks upset all the time, for 2 consecutive days, she doesn't even smile, and was a bit rude. I would remove her from the reception.

Liked: I like the processes in an emergency they work pretty well in the emergency seismic evacuation the personnel in the hotel was pretty knowledgeable of the rules and drill expectations with the right information for the customers
Disliked: the location and the buildings next to the hotel are in pretty bad condition.
