Liked: This hotel is so beautiful - we loved the history which added to the charm of the very warm welcome.The breakfast is delicious and we appreciated the teas and coffees in reception.
Disliked: Nothing - it is an old building so don’t expect the rooms to be modern but they are beautiful and very comfortable.

Disliked: We picked the hotel by recommendations from online but Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t as comfortable as we had hoped. The room didn’t have air conditioning, and with temperatures around 30°C and high humidity, it was quite difficult to relax. The bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep.The hotel has an old-fashioned charm, but it seems to cater more to those who may have visited decades ago, rather than offering the modern comforts today’s travelers often look for.While we appreciate the effort of the staff and the nostalgic atmosphere, we personally wouldn’t recommend this place to others seeking comfort and convenience.

Liked: The interior decor is beautiful! The breakfast was amazing. Close to the train station.
Disliked: More power sockets needed in the room. We had to unplug the fridge to plug in the kettle.

Liked: Comfy beds, nice breakfast with lots of choice, comfortable lobby, coffee machines all over, excellent staff, very clean.
Disliked: Way, way too hot in the room with no means of cooling, not even a fan. I felt I was going to die in there. Made plans to sleep.in the lobby or have hourly cold showers. The reception lent us a fan (their fan, I think) and my partner mended it and we ran it on high then medium.all night and with that and having the window open we were fine. Room heats up v fast tho. Cannot recommend this place in the summer, particularly for older ppl. I understand the hotel is working on it, but Please put fans in the rooms. It's shocking you have everything else to such a high standard and not that. Thanks to the reception staff for helping us out. Much appreciated.
