Liked: My room didn't get cleaned twice, hated the shower and the room had a weird smell. Also, construction going on and banging through the night.

Would have been better for...

Liked: Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was very accommodating to our two dogs. We ate at the steakhouse for dinner and it was excellent.
Disliked: The lounge/bar was closed during our entire stay due to an event, and the bar in the steakhouse was full the rest of the night because of this which was never told to us before arrival. We picked this hotel based on the location and the fact it had a bar. Also did not like that the bathroom was see through glass as I was staying with my boyfriend’s brother in the room, and would have liked the privacy of a wall and door when showering and using the restroom..

I expected more. I didn't...

Liked: I expected more. I didn't think it was good value for money. The shower stall leaks a lot, flooding the bathroom, and the air conditioning gives off the smell of meat from the restaurant on the ground floor. The valet parking, however, was excellent and quick, as were the girls who served breakfast.

Disliked: We did not know ahead of time that some of the rooms were under construction so there was a great deal of banging

Good food. But don't waste...

Liked: The location, and the food.
Disliked: The room was old, dirty and the shower was grimmy. The tiles in the bathroom was so old and grungy. Water came thru all the shower doors and on the bathroom floor. The bed was way too soft and made my back hurt.

Liked: Lobby was very clean, staff was very kind.
Disliked: The room had a weird smell and the bed was by far the most uncomfortable mattress my wife or I has ever been on. All you can hear all night is the traffic on Monroe St ( not the hotels fault ). I was unable to find a safe or anywhere to store valuables. We were not offered any assistance or even a cart to transport our luggage. When we asked where we should park, the desk attendant told us to park on the street, they don’t think the city tows on the weekend.
