Liked: Each morning prior to sunrise, I would take my coffee out into the gardens in the back of this chateau built in the 1700's and just enjoy the cacophony of birds, the emerging spring flowers and the cool air. Very relaxing, centrally located in Bayeux a very friendly town to Americans. Michel and Gilles are wonderful hosts invisible until you need them!
Disliked: Restaurants in Bayeux are busy, very busy, get reservations early. Michel and Gilles will have recommendations.

Liked: Great location with friendly staff, history and a great restaurant.
Disliked: Nothing. Be prepared to walk up stairs as there is no elevator.

Liked: The location, room, breakfast.
Disliked: The coffee maker in the room was not working.

Lived up to our expectations!

Liked: Superb location. Breakfast was excellent with a bonus of serving decaf coffee - the only place we were able to order it during our stay in Belgium and the Netherlands. Breakfast waitress also very attentive.

Great location to explore

Liked: The location was brilliant, and the breakfast choices were good. Evening meal in the restaurant was first class. The Beef steak was delicious 😋. Friendly staff.Lovely room on the second floor,great views. Good shower,plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Disliked: Could have done with a few more pillows. Bottled water in the bedroom would have been a nice extra touch.
