An absolutely cracking hotel!

Liked: I was incredibly lucky and had my room upgraded to a suite (Cristal). Everything was fantastic. The room is the best I’ve stayed in. Definitely worth the extra for a special occasion. The bathroom was divine. I could have stayed in the shower all day! Breakfast was lovely. The staff were very helpful. Good location, especially if you’re going by train.
Disliked: Very, very minor quibble, the lighting was lovely except for when you need to apply makeup. Could do with a brighter light option in the bathroom maybe or a makeup mirror with LED light surround?

Liked: As ever the hotel is great.
Disliked: They are becoming like RyanAir. Pitch low and scratch customers to get more. Parking, breakfast. Okay the breakfast I knew about but now it is £15 for parking- hidden in the depths of the small print. Then a rather too practised explanation. What should be the settling in after a journey becomes a polite well delivered kicking. You know it is practised by the speed and assurance with which innocent questions are sewn up. Makes a thoroughly unpleasant booking in from which the stay never recovered. Anyway that was all hidden in the small print. Big print from me is never again I felt duped and it was handled poorly by the receptionist.
