Very good. Staff were efficient...
Liked: Breakfast was very good and more than substantial. Location was irrelevant.
Disliked: Not really complaints but would have liked to have been able to open the window for some fresh air. And no room between the toilet and bath. Dinner was a bit small, charged £5 for ( i assume ) a take away coffee in the morning which seemed a bit extreme.

Disliked: I visited during the lockdown so everything was shut

Liked: Centrally located, private parking, upgraded to a lovely large room, friendly and helpful staff. Good room service and an attractive hotel. COVID safe.
Disliked: Our room was to the front of the hotel and traffic was a little noisy at peak times, otherwise very quiet.

Fabulous! Cosy, perfect location, friendly...
Liked: Fantastic location and cosy room and with I could expect, had a delicious bath with great products and full of goodies. Bed is the best I?ve been!
The reception team were fab! Well done for covid times, everything sparked and free of contact.

Perfunctory. Service issues were disproportionally...
Liked: Decor and design were great. Room spacious and a nice vibe.
Disliked: Checkin was awful as it was through a third party. Confusion on what had been paid for and what hadn?t. Gruff reception. Possibly just a bad day for her. Food and service in the bar were horrendous. Food was inedible. Perfunctory check back and a table visit by a kid who didn?t care about the issue. Just took the carrots off the bill. Which they weren?t when we came to pay. The checkout receptionist took off the bourguignons which were also awful. I was excited to see the wine list having just driven from the south coast of France, stopped off in Bourgogne the previous night. It was really average for a hotel that bases its concept in wine. We had no engagement from the bartender as I told him our journey through wine territory (brief as it was). I don?t get it, hotel du vin. Surely there should be some resonance? Anyway. Won?t be rushing back on our way back down after lockdown.
