A pleasant stay in a...
Liked: The people were friendly and engaging
Disliked: There were a couple of aspects where the hotel would benefit from a bit more care and attention to detail. A red bull can outside our first floor not removed, some rusting on bathroom pipes that had extended onto tiles

Good value for money hotel...
Liked: Breakfast was excellent although table would suggest a couple more round tables for larger parties.Location and staff were excellent
Disliked: Room was clean and fine but the decor is a little dated/standard, would suggest making it a little more special/updated

Super friendly, professional and helpful...
Liked: Really lovely hotel , staff, position and comfort.
Disliked: The only thing I noticed was that I could hear vents outside my window which were quite loud at times but I got off to sleep so it wasn’t too much of a problem.

Pleasant
Liked: The location. The room was well equipped and comfortable with a lovely big bath and walk in shower. Dinner was lovely at the bistro
Disliked: The room had a very odd layout- the door opened into the bathroom which you had to walk through to get to the main bedroom. The breakfast wax really disappointing- burnt pastries and cold black pudding. When we booked we told the hotel it was our 22nd wedding anniversary but there were no nice little touches to acknowledge this. Every hotel we have stayed in for special occasions have given us a nice little extra. Finally we were absolutely fleeced at the local carpark (our fault not the hotels but it ended up costing us 60 pounds to park for 24 hrs!)
