Disappointing

Nice stay, the location is...

Liked: Location was amazing.
Disliked: My room didn’t get cleaned my whole stay but I’m not sure if I was supposed to request it or something so that could be my fault.

Okay but happy staff quickly...

Liked: You cannot fault the location, just off Rue St Cathrine. Tram, shops, bars restaurants on your doorstep.Having made the staff aware of the problems with the room, they were very quick to rectify the issue and offered us another room, which was a great improvement.
Disliked: We booked a small double and it is that. Was woken twice during the night as room light was on as my foot would switch it on. The bed is wedged between the 2 walls with sockets and light switches at the foot of the bed. The shower temperature was either scalding or freezing. Also there was a crack in the toilet.

Great Location

Liked: The location was excellent, close to the tourism office and C tram and old town centre. I would have liked a coffee pot or hot water pot to make coffee or tea. The bathroom had a sewer smell which was off putting and no fan for ventilation. Very cramped but overall a good value. It provides basic accommodations and the location is its strong suit. It was tight quarters but you can't do anything about the size. Maybe a trundle bed would allow more space for moving around. The large bed took up all the floor space.

Disliked: The hotel is next to an extremely noisy discotheque. Two times people came knocking at the door in the middle of the night. There is nobody at the reception.
