Lovely hotel to stay within...

Liked: A spacious room with extra areas to sit. The lady running the hotel was lovely & welcoming.
Disliked: Didn’t have air conditioning so was a little stuffy even though I could open the window.

An old hotel but perfect...

Liked: Great location, spacious bathroom and lovely shower. Friendly staff
Disliked: No aircon, room very hot. Opened onto internal courtyard so no air flow. A bit noisy from other premises with windows open

Perfect

Liked: I really liked this hotel and I highly recommend it. The room was perfect for two people – clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious, with a double sink, a bathtub, and an entire wall covered with mirrors. The reception staff were very positive and friendly. The location is excellent – close to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. Also, the price per night was very affordable. I was truly satisfied with my stay there.

Hotel Du Pre a great...

Liked: Continental breakfast choices were good. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions and to allow us to drop off our bags before our room was ready.

+Gave me what I needed.

Liked: Well placed if you need to stay near Gare du Nord. A typical Parisian 3* hotel which lived up to expectations. As a single room there was not much space but it had a good bathroom and shower. Breakfast was great, provided you weren't in a hurry. Recommended the very pleasant Hugo restaurant.
Disliked: Lack of air conditioning. It was a very hot Saturday night on the top floor facing west! The hotel had supplied a fan which I kept on all night at a low speed. With the windows open, the noise from the nearby street bars went on to 3am on the Sunday morning - not surprising but it did make it difficult to sleep.
