Liked: The spacious room with functional shelves and close to the cathedral and the station.
Disliked: Check in process was strange, without anyone at a front desk at 8pm and only up to 2pm.

Decent stay in a good...

Liked: Good location close to the train station and the river walk area. The room was large and the beds were small but comfortable. The shower was small but the water pressure was great. There is a small lift at least for luggage but you always have to do a half flight of stairs with luggage.
Disliked: People breaking glass at 3:30 in the morning outside on the riverwalk area. We had to have the windows open since there is no AC. No staff in sight after 2pm and if anyone was around they were standing right outside the doors smoking. No answer on WhatsApp to a question. They replaced the water bottle in the room with an already open one.

Not fancy, but a great...

Liked: Small hotel very near the Cologne cathedral and overlooking the Rhine. Lot's of nearby restaurants. There's a place to park briefly to unload suitcases and two parking garages within a half block.
Disliked: The check-in process was a bit unusual. No one at the desk. They email a code for a lockbox on the side of the building. It worked fine, but it was a little worrisome until we figured it out.

Disliked: Didn’t spot the lack of air conditioning Then thought a fridge would have been a good idea. Some construction work going on most of the weekend but not in their control I guess.

Liked: The location is this property is excellent. Very close to many restaurants, the Cathedral and bridges.
Disliked: No air conditioning and the teeny tiny bathroom.

Disliked: - A bit noisy at night (deliveries to the nearby buildings)- No fan in the room
