Great location, friendly staff, beautiful...

Liked: The staff was very friendly and hospitable, even providing us with breakfast when we were late for it. The room was spacious and clean, looking out to a nice garden. The location is great: a comfortable 15-minute walk to the historic center, yet very quiet at night.

I recommend

Liked: the staff and the hotel itself left a very positive impression. I would definitely come back but to a room on the second floor with windows not facing the garden)
Disliked: my room was on the first floor with windows facing the garden. unfortunately many guests prefer to have breakfast in the garden and make a lot of noise, it interferes with sleep especially if you are not ready to get up at 7am and go eat. my room was for early birds - alas, that is not me

Great hotel in a fantastic...

Liked: We really liked this hotel - it was in a fantastic location and our room was great. There was a good choice of food at breakfast. It was very close to Florence city centre but still reasonably quiet especially in the evening. If you visit at the weekend there is (or was when we visited) a flea market in the piazza opposite the hotel.
Disliked: There wasn't anything that we didn't like. Sometimes we had to time when we went for breakfast as the breakfast room is quite small and it could get busy.

Liked: The hotel was an easy walk to the train station and an easy walk to shops, cafes and tourist attractions.
Disliked: N/A

I enjoyed my stay and...

Liked: The location- proximity to the train station and places of historical interest.
Disliked: The elevator was very slow.
