Excellent location for the price,...
Liked: The location was great for walking to the beach, Lexington Museum and restaurants.
Disliked: The stairs were somewhat difficult to carry luggage and supplies up and down for a senior citizen.

Well i’m hesitant to book...
Liked: We liked that the room was renovated with a modern look. Also that it came with a fridge, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, and microwave . Comfortable beds .
Disliked: What we didn’t like is that the door was hard to close. You had to forcefully slam it so it could close. And the we had tiny roaches around the bathroom mirror. Then i stepped on a small roach on the side of my bed. So when we checked out i let the front office clerk of the roaches in our room he just said oh ok . And that was it .

Decent accommodations, disappointed given the...
Liked: Decent room with comfortable beds and mini fridge.
Disliked: Hotel wanting to charge a fee to check in two hours early, which I declined. Housekeeping only every other day. Sand left on the walkways outside the rooms not swept. Paid a premium for "ocean view" (Corpus Christi Bay) but had to leave drapes closed for privacy from other guests and staff circulating on the walkway in front of the window. Absence of blackout shades made sleep difficult. The summer sun is strong, and covered parking is limited and not assigned to a specific room, making it often unavailable. There is uncovered parking with some spots designated for hotel guests only, and I did manage to find parking on the property every day. However, there is also public parking on the property paid by QR code, which is confusing and makes me wonder whether guests could find themselves without any parking space on the property. On benches in covered parking area people - not all guests - loiter for long stretches. In one instance, the loiterer in the covered parking area was a drunk who accosted us to beg for change as we exited our car. Desk was attentive when I complained, but the unfenced property and parking layout invites this kind of interaction.

Convenient, comfortable, clean laid back...
Liked: The location was perfect for us because we wanted to not only walk on the beach but it was close to the Texas State Aquarium and the USS Lexington, which was in walking distance on beach. Great restaurant on the property too. Couple souvenir shops right there as well. The room was cute, comfortable and clean. Only stairs available which was fine for us since only 2 floors. Great view of the beach area from some rooms too. Parking was convenient too. The staff was friendly and I’d recommend this to a couple, friends or a family.
Disliked: Really nothing particular we didn’t like, it’s a laid back casual hotel, nothing fancy which in our case was just fine for the 2 nights we stayed.

It served our purpose.
Liked: It was within walking distance to the beach and a bar and restaurant.
Disliked: The bed was very uncomfortable, the bathroom shower had sand in it. The AC was loud. Had to pay for parking and this was not in the description when I booked. The coffee in the room was awful. There is an outside light by each door that shines through the curtains. Construction is heavy in the area of this hotel. The saying “you get what you paid for” is spot on. If you are just looking to find a place to sleep it’s good enough, no add ons. Next time I will be looking to spend more money and a better place.

Pleasant
Liked: I loved the location. The room was very clean and bed were super comfy
Disliked: The original room the AC didn't work and we had to wait over an hour for another room. I was disappointed that we had to move from the 1st level to the 2nd level since my husband has a bad knee and had to climb all those stairs. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay
