Very good

Liked: The location is fabulous. Its so central to everything. I could walk to most of the iconic landmarks. Restaurants and cafes are by a doorstep

Liked: The hotel staff were extremely helpful. The hotel itself felt very secure, it was extremely clean, our room was modern and had all the amenities we required, including very effective air con. The bed was also in incredibly comfortable, the quiet surroundings of the hotel meant that we got 3 great nights of sleep.

Disliked: Bathroom are not well maintained. Broken shower door rail. Blocked basin. Air extractor / VMC not working .

Good as always

Liked: This is my third stay in D’espagne, I prefer this hotel for perfect location, very good breakfast, clean rooms
Disliked: This time, our room wasn’t ready for check in - cleaning team forgot to remove leftover snacks from the previous guests.+I believe it’s always a nice touch to acknowledge returning guests with a small gesture, especially if they plan to stay again in the future.

Basic hotel, not good value...

Liked: Great location near Grands Boulevards, clean & tidy room and hotel overall.
Disliked: Air conditioning was not effective enough, room remained warm and humid with maximum power. Breakfast quite basic but cost 18€/person/day (also for kids), we got much better value for money in nearby cafes. Service quite poor, we asked for extra hangers (not available) and ironing equipment (were not delivered despite promise to do so). Not very good value for money overall.
