Hotel Description
Hôtel des Patients is located in a quiet area in Lausanne on the grounds of the CHUV university hospital center. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk. The hotel is the first of its type in Switzerland combining accommodations for guests and patients at the same time. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a seating area where you can relax or a terrace. A breakfast buffet is available every morning. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant on the terrace or a drink at the bar. The M2 metro station is a 5-minute walk from Hôtel des Patients and the main train station the lake and the city center are reachable within a few minutes. We have negotiated for you access to the fitness center opposite the hotel at a reduced rate - you can use their gym and sauna.

In conclusion, I would definitely...

Liked: The hotel is nice, clean, the room is very spacious, we recommend it.
Disliked: We liked the hotel. I just want to add a small note. Perhaps we didn't do much research at first, but I was actually suspicious of the name. The hotel also has a contract with the hospital, and patients stay there. This should be stated well in advance, because you'll encounter various patients in the elevators, corridors, and restaurants, such as a patient walking around with a catheter in their hand, or various seriously ill patients in wheelchairs. There's no problem, but it's good to know this beforehand.

Liked: Rooms was clean...
Disliked: I paid extra for a lake view..but the reception told me that they don't have the room available.. I haven't received a refund or any compensation...it seems unfair ...

Good and really patients hotel

Liked: The room is big and clean. The sight is good which means you can see the lake from the windows. Breakfast is also good enough.Not far from the metro.
Disliked: I first thought that the translation is wrong about the hotel which should mean patience. Then we met many little babies and the elderly in the morning. I started to find that there are about 3 hospitals nearby. All the people are nice.

Amazing property.

Liked: The room is very big and with amazing views( at least ours). Excellent breakfast with many choices.
Disliked: Parking it is a little bit small and hard to park if you have a big car.
