Exceptional

Great affordable hotel for short...

Liked: Very secure with 24hr staffed desk. Opposite police station. The hotel was clean. We had a balcony to get fresh air. Brilliant choice of restaurants nearby for food.
Disliked: The room was small with no air con (they provided a fan). This was advertised. On 4th floor, we could open the window without disturbance from sound.

Liked: The hotel is really central and it is very easy to get everywhere with the metro. It's also really nice that your able to store your luggage when the room isn't ready for checking in. Even though the room is really small it had everything you need while staying in Paris.
Disliked: The rooms are very small which normally wouldn't be an issue but considering it was 36 degrees in Paris it was extremely hot. This is something to keep in mind when booking this hotel. There is no air-conditioning.

Really nice stay, in really...

Liked: Cozy and clean place with a delicious breakfast. The staff were helpful and kind. The bed was comfortable and perfect for a good night's sleep. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including an excellent crêperie that offers gluten-free pancakes. It was a quiet and relaxing stay. The metro is very close, and the neighborhood feels safe and pleasant.
Disliked: The only thing to note is that if you have a window facing the front of the building, there's a grill-place restaurant nearby — so sometimes you'll notice the smell of cooking. Occasionally, you might also hear police officers talking loudly on the street. But overall, it's city life at its best.
