I certainly would not book...

Liked: Location was perfect for access to the city walks along the river and old town and sites to see.
Disliked: I was really looking forward to my stay at Hôtel des Beaux-Arts after booking online and seeing what they were offering, to relax in the city and take some time to absorb life but that changed when i got to my room and pulled back the curtains. Zero view, to my horror it was a tarpaulin printed painting of a landscape. When i opened the window a bad smell from rotting leaves entered the room, there was 10% natural light coming into the room. A bedside table was cracked, the reading light didn't work and in case of emergency the fire escape procedure didn't apply to my room, 'remain in the room and close the door, make your presence known at the window', to what? When i requested another room at check in i was told i got what i booked, i'd have to pay for an upgrade and move twice during my stay, so disappointed. The website images are misleading.

Great option for Toulouse!

Liked: Decor, direct view of the river, aircon, friendly staff 24/7, proximity to bars and restaurants

Liked: The view from the room and the big windows!
Disliked: I first stayed at a room that was kind of painted black! I would have preferred a “whiter room”. I changed to another one and it was perfect.

Liked: Beautiful location, good facility, excellent staff.
Disliked: A bit run-down around the edges, but it adds to the charm.

Perfect for two nights in...

Liked: we had a room that overlooked the Pont Nuef, and the Garonne. Teo, our host was excellent in providing advice and taking care of us.
