Nice enough for what we...

Liked: We received a very friendly welcome from the receptionist and a clear explanation about where to find the secure parking, which is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. It's close to a couple of nearby restaurants and bars and the view of the viaduct is pretty impressive. I didn't want breakfast, but the morning staff were flexible to let me buy just a coffee and take that back to my room, as I had to work. It looks as though the terrace could be nice, but I didn't use it.
Disliked: I have to say that the hotel is feels a little more shabby than the photos indicate. The reception area feels a bit like a hostel - strange built in old-looking furniture and the carpet was quite worn (although the stair ways and carpet there seemed in good repair). The front the door was locked despite it being early evening and the receptionist being there. The parking building is close by and seems secure but feels rather creepy and to be honest, I'm glad I wasn't on my own! The room was sweet, with nice decor and being an old building, I was expecting it to be small - but once again, some of the furniture was scuffed and looked like it could do with a refresh.

Superb

Liked: Breakfast was so complete. The attendees were so kind.
Disliked: We traveled with a motorcycle, and parked in front of the hotel. During the night someone tried to steal it, mainly damaging the blinkers, some chassis parts, mirrors and direction. So next time we are traveling to France, we will be paying for parking the motorcycle.It's not the hotel's fault itself, it's located in a not that secure area.

Liked: I stayed at the hotel for two weeks, and it was a great experience! Very nice staff, beautiful location, and clean rooms. Highly recommend!
Disliked: The wifi was a bit weak, for the rest it was a nice stay!

Nice trip to Montpellier
