Really friendly staff; very helpful regarding local recommendations. Very spacious room.

Disliked: I don't prefer pedestal sinks in bathrooms, just cuz I'm a high maintenance gal who needs room to spread out my magic potions!

Liked: The mattress was extremely comfortable as well as the pillow. And there is a secure parking lot($40.00 per night
Disliked: Two flights of stairs off the street to get to the lobby aren't a perfect way to start your stay. There was a coffee pot but not coffee. The hot water in the sink and shower is a dribble(but the shower head is great). The A/C is just OK. Evenings in the summer warm up the room. And room service is only upon request. Some may find this petty as do I, the stay was a good stay. Someone might be picky and find this helpful. It is a historical hotel.

Liked: The location is very convenient to Providence Park. The building has historical charm, including an old fashioned letter box chute from each floor to the main lobby. There were cute pictures of kitties on the inside of it.
Disliked: I didn't care for the Queen size bed, which was not very comfortable. The building is really old, which means the walls are really thin. I could hear a dog barking for a good 15 minutes at 12:00 midnight, and the people next door laughing. We asked for some ice and a cup of coffee from the concierge, and were told that we should basically get it ourselves next time. Also, there was something oily on the faucet in the shower, which grossed me out. Also, online ads were proclaiming free parking with a hotel booking, but I was still charged. I brought all of these concerns to the hotel manager, and although they were validated, no effort was made to rectify the situation, particularly with regard to the unexpected parking fee.

Disliked: Room was not clean; toilet was not working, no body wash in shower, one towel in room. Brunch was overpriced and undercooked.
