Really friendly staff; very helpful regarding local recommendations. Very spacious room.
Disliked: I don't prefer pedestal sinks in bathrooms, just cuz I'm a high maintenance gal who needs room to spread out my magic potions!

Passable
Liked: Bed was comfy
Disliked: Had to pay for the parking separately from paying the room. Room didn’t have fridge nor microwave. Too small for what we payed for a night.

Fabulous location, outstanding breakfast, comfortable...
Liked: Location is fabulous, near the Pearl District, close to the tram to the airport and to Washington Park.Rooms are small but very comfortable and we had a great view from the 7th floor over Portland. The restaurant is outstanding and I think this might be the best breakfast in town, incredible quality!
Disliked: In the room there was only one chair so the second person had to sit on the bed. There is a nice small bar cart, which we did not use and I would have preferred to have a second chair or even a small stool. The restaurant is absolutely great and one of the main reasons why we choose the hotel, but we did not consider that it was Easter weekend and there was only room at 7:45am for breakfast on Easter Sunday. Our bad not to check about it, but it would have been nice to be reminded that hotel guests have to reserve just like anyone else (I am used to European hotels where the restaurant is open for breakfast mostly for the hotel guests and did not think of it).

Very disappointed
Liked: The property is in a great location, great amenities in the hotel. Staff is great!
Disliked: My room was rented for a mother daughter evening in town for my daughter’s birthday. We arrived and received a room right next to the elevator shaft, booked this room over a month ago and this was what we received, really feel those should be left until the last possible bookings. Heard the elevator going up and down with the bells dinging all night. Room wasn’t vacuumed, prior occupants trash was still on the floor. Unhealthy stains on the dust ruffle, wall was pealing apart, full length mirror had hairspray buildup and wasn’t cleaned prior to us, nor was the iron cord wrapped and put away from prior occupants. Which really showed the room wasn’t properly handled or cleaned before our arrival. No mini bar (as advertised) or even coffee/tea packets were provided for the coffee pot in the room, and severe rust stains in the bathroom under the open sink making it unsanitary. I have rented here before and the room was great. This was so disappointing, and for the cost and fees ofThe room, I should be able to rest assured it will be a clean room! Oh and there’s a $40 parking fee that’s not listed anywhere in the details if you can’t find street parking.

Perfect
Liked: The location was perfect close to almost everything I was able to walk everywhere from here. The building feels historic and is just beautiful inside. The staff was so friendly and gave me a complimentary upgrade

Bad service, decent but small...
Liked: Rooms were nicely kept and clean.
Disliked: Walked in and had to go find someone to help us. Once I found the lady she told me she’s filling in for someone and didn’t know how to take a reservation. She told me it would be better to book online. So I finally did that myself and then she asked if I drove, I said yes and she said it’s $40 per night to park. That’s ridiculous for 1 night. Totally unacceptable service. Plus lots of homeless in the area.
