The Spotlight on Hotel del Flores

Classic Beverly Hills Charm on a Budget

Hotel del Flores offers a no-frills, vintage-style stay right in the heart of Beverly Hills. Just a short stroll from iconic Rodeo Drive and nestled among upscale boutiques and restaurants, this hotel is all about location. With individually decorated rooms, free Wi-Fi, and a shared front porch, it's a unique and affordable base for music lovers ready to explore LA’s concert scene.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything, and Hotel del Flores delivers. It's within easy reach of several top music venues and just a 5-minute walk from the Paley Center for Media. With a 24-hour front desk and a relaxed, quiet atmosphere, it's a great spot to crash after a show. While there's no on-site parking, rideshares are easy to grab, and being in Beverly Hills means late-night food and transit options are close by.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a central and affordable base
  • Solo travelers catching a dream concert in LA
  • Couples combining a show with a weekend in Beverly Hills
  • Fans seeking a low-key, post-concert recovery space
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who still want a prime location

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant or room service, the hotel’s unbeatable location means you're just steps away from late-night dining spots, casual cafes, and upscale restaurants. Grab a bite after the encore or enjoy a lazy brunch the next day at one of the nearby Beverly Hills eateries.

Nightlife Options

This isn’t a party hotel, but that’s part of its charm. You’ll find plenty of nightlife within walking distance — from sleek rooftop bars to cozy lounges. Whether you’re celebrating post-show or winding down with a quiet drink, it’s all nearby.

What People Say

Guests love the location most of all – it's walkable, central, and close to both shopping and entertainment. Reviews often mention the friendly staff and the hotel’s charming, historic character. It's a favorite among travelers who prioritize budget and location over luxury.

Areas for Improvement

The rooms are simple and a bit dated, and there’s no elevator, so be prepared to carry your bags. Some guests mention that the walls are thin, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. But for the price and the prime location, most agree it’s a fair trade.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to a concert in LA and want to stay in Beverly Hills without breaking the bank, Hotel del Flores is a smart, simple pick with unbeatable access to nightlife and venues.

Not the worst but not...

Liked: Cheap place to stay in Beverly for one night
Disliked: It had a very musty smell, bathrooms weren’t very clean and the windows were very hard to open. Also didn’t help the smell when we left them open for hours

Best location ever, good value...

Liked: I had the only bathroom in the place, shower were shared.Common area kitchen with Fridge, microwave and table.
Disliked: I had left my luggage at the front desk for safe keeping before I left, and when I came to pick it up, one of them was missing. For some unexplained reason it had ended up, to another persons room, and it took us a while to figure it out and recover it.

Avoid....!

Liked: Good location, close to Santa Monica Boulevard for buses, and Rodeo Drive. Location is the ONLY positive about this hotel.
Disliked: Staff were miserable, unprofessional and unhelpful. Kitchen was poorly equipped, no plates, cutlery, cooker, kettle or anything else you would expect in a kitchen. We did manage to heat microwave meals in the microwave. Hotel was dirty and in desperate need of updating / deep cleaning. We had no cold water in the sink, which was in the bedroom, not the ensuite. Bath was disgusting with rusty pipes and broken tiles.Wooden sash windows would not shut (or open any further). We had an upstairs room overlooking the back of the restaurant kitchen next door - it was noisy until about 1am and then restaurant cleaners arrived about 6am.On arrival we were given a list of rules and a price list of fines for various things. On departure we asked the receptionist to check our room to make sure that we would not receive any fines. Receptionist checked our room and said everything was okay, but would not sign to say there would be no fines until house keeping checked the bed to make sure 'we had not peed in the bed'. We are a respectable English couple in our 50s who have travelled all over the world - have never experienced anything like this before! Normally we are asked if we have enjoyed our stay....We have complained to booking.com but have had limited response, and now they are not answering messages - we do not believe this hotel should be advertised on booking com or other reputable sites

Bad

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: I was quite disappointed with my stay. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty and the room had a strong unpleasant odor. I truly wonder how anyone can feel comfortable staying here despite paying such a price. I had chosen this hotel mainly for its good location, but unfortunately, the cleanliness was far below expectations.I sincerely request the hotel management to replace the old, unhygienic carpets and improve the overall cleanliness of the rooms. Guests do not always expect luxury at a lower price, but basic hygiene and cleanliness are fundamental expectations. Due to the smell, I couldn't even sleep properly throughout the night.
