Hotel Silhouette Biarritz

Liked: Lovely boutique feel hotel with nice rooms. Gorgeous garden and outside bar area. Nice bathroom and shower with quality linens and bathrobes. Our room had a lovely balcony. Location is superb right in centre of town. But rooms remain quiet. Transfers from airport less than 10 mins. Excellent bar with good selection of wines reasonably priced.
Disliked: Free parking is limited and entrance is narrow. Whilst hotel has a kitchen the only provide breakfast and some bar snacks. But lots of local restaurants on the doorstep

Disliked: Our room was quite small. Difficult with 2 suitcases !

Exceptional

Perfect hotel in so many...

Liked: Perfect in many ways … location .. central to so much - amongst restaurants , including a Michelin starred restaurant right near the front gates ( La Saleya ) The hotel itself has great food too. Situated across from the famous food market Les Halles , you can stroll through there and pickup anything to nibble on … fresh fruit, baguettes, cheese,wine etc … there is a great coffee place inside also Lobita which does flat whites just like Australia ( land of great flat whites!) A supermarket is across the street also. The central location means you can walk everywhere -the beaches are perfect to swim at & there are many to choose from. The hotel itself is gorgeous, beautifully decorated with a gorgeous garden area where you can relax , it’s such a retreat and quiet spot to unwind.The staff are really friendly and helpful. It really is a beautiful place to stay and enjoy all that Biarritz has on offer.
Disliked: The parking is very tight so a general reminder to all guests that are parking ( or a sign in the car park) to park in the designated spots ( perhaps clearer marking of the bays too ) will help alleviate anger at inconsiderate drivers who take up two bays . Priority for the car park should be given to guests who are paying the 25 Euro per day to park.
