Comfortable and good for a...

Liked: Right in the centre of town with parking!Hotel was very ‘boutique’ and minimal.Receptionist, Lola was very helpful and accommodating.
Disliked: No lift and we were on the third of four floors!No staff from 8pm, so doors locked and you entered with a key code. We were not told about this protocol so we’re concerned at 1030pm returning from our meal that there was nobody about and we couldn’t get in. Reception area in darkness!!! A Duty Manager was available by phone and told us the code to get in. A bit stressful after a long journey.

A good place to stay...

Liked: Quiet location yet very close, just a few minutes walk, to the Cathedral and old town. Private parking worked well right next to the hotel - a bit of manoeuvering required but nothing too tricky and staff show you where to park. Friendly staff. Good varied breakfast.
Disliked: A very minor gripe but the adhesive hooks in the bathroom kept falling off!

Liked: The breakfast is really good and the ground floor is nice but the room where we stayed had an old smell but generally it was ok. The staff was helpful and really nice.
